Important note: Even if you don't qualify for Medicaid based on income alone, you should still apply. You may qualify for your state's program, especially if you have children, are pregnant, or have a disability. You can apply for Medicaid and CHIP any time of year.

CHILDREN'S HEALTH INSURANCE PROGRAM (CHIP)

CHIP is a health program that provides low-cost health coverage to children in families that earn too much money to qualify for Medicaid but not enough to buy private insurance.

If you need help applying for health insurance, schedule a free help appointment with Take Care Utah by calling 801-433-2299 or visiting TakeCareUtah.org.
